Help us help writers!

For the past six years, the Lord has blessed our efforts in many ways.  Our attendance has almost
tripled, since our first outing in 2006.  We've continued to attract some of the finest and most
competent instructors in the business.  The fruits of our labors are sweet, but we don't want to rest
on our laurels; there is much more that we could do, to advance this important work.

As we look to the future, many challenges lay ahead.  We've kept the tuition steady at $125, even
as our costs continue to rise.  Our faculty work for peanuts (they love what they do!), but we can't
expect them to endure these slave wages forever.  We need to give them a raise, to ensure that
they stick around.  We must do better marketing, and learn as we go.  This is where you come in.

There are many ways that you could help us, and perhaps we could help you in return:

Give the gift of inspiration.  Do you know an aspiring writer who
might benefit from attending our conference? You can make a donation
for their tuition.  Tell us their name and how to contact them.  If you'd
like to remain anonymous, let us know that as well.  Click on the
"donate" button to the right.

Endow a scholarship. Perhaps you don't have a particular beneficiary
in mind, but you'd like to do a good deed.  You can make a contribution, and we will find a
suffering scribe (there are plenty!) for you.  Click on the "donate" button to the right.

Sponsor a contest.  We have writing contests every year, but we can't always afford to award
prizes.  This could be in the form of cash, or some type of service or product.  Or perhaps you have
an idea we haven't thought of.  Let's talk about it.

Fund the conference.  At some point in the near future, we would love to expand it to 3-4 days
and move to a Christian camp just down the road from our current location (more
here.)  This
new venture will bring untold new challenges and expenses, and we can't be sure that the gate
receipts will cover it all.  A handful of angels, with relatively small contributions, will set our minds
at ease.

What's in it for you?  Good question.  For these last two options, in exchange for your
generosity, we will be glad to promote your company's product or service -- both on our website,
and at the conference site itself.  In some cases, your donation could be tax-deductible.
